The [community profile] white_lotus Lunar New Year challenge is over, and I made one treat for it!
It is Mai/Zuko, SFW.
It's funny, because a lot of people mentioned the background as being the moon, which it wasn't meant to be- it was just a compositional element stuck in there because a blank background was boring. It's kind of oblong for a moon, although looking at it now the texture is totally moonlike.
I wanted to do more than one, but I was too busy- I've hardly even gotten to look over everything submitted. There are some super awesome crafts, though. I really want to make these dishcloths.

Yesterday was my birthday! I'm now one quarter of a century old. It's weird. I feel like I should have things more figured out by now, but I guess that's pretty common.

It's also my cats' birthday today! They are four years old.

Though not, ironically, the job I interviewed for today. Still, this job will probably be more stable and long term, so- yays! Here's hoping I don't fuck it up.

I actually went out and interacted with people today! It was not horrible! I went to a NaNoWriMo WriteIn (I am so far behind, agh) and it was pretty okay! I met some people who seemed neat. Although the conversation turned to fandom, and there was a lot of 'lol slash', which was a little awkward. It sort of reminded me of the time when I had dinner with Ursula Vernon (and like, other people, she didn't invite me specifically) and ended up spending a lot of time defending Snape mpreg. I don't know, part of me feels like I should have been more vehement.
Still, even though the girl at my table was down on Harry/Dumbledore, she gave me some of her pizza, so that was pretty cool.

I also have a job interview tomorrow, which I am quietly freaking about about. Has anyone, *ever* figured out a good answer to the question "What do you consider to be your worst quality?" I've been asked it like six times and I think I've muffed it up every time. Also, I'm going to be gone from the 19th to the 22nd, and it feels weird to say "I would love to work for you, can I take some time off?" (I will be in Massachusetts, but I don't know if I'll be able to see people.) *flails*

Well, we're officially being kicked out of the house! My landlord has apparently failed to pay his mortgage, despite repeatedly telling us that we don't need to worry about the foreclosure notices, he totally has it taken care of you guys. So now the house is owned by the bank, and they want it back! Which means getting the four of us out. It's not all bad- apparently we might qualify for relocation assistance? And we have some time. But- aauugh, I have to get all the roommates together, and we have to write a letter(?) and we have to agree on- something(?) and I have no idea what to do and yet I am In Charge of this situation by virtue of the fact that I was the only one at home when the bank rep came by to check for occupancy. WHEEEEEEEEEEE. um. yes. brb, exploding of stress.
